Our Philosophy

The primary purpose of Chicago Elevator Company as an independent contractor is to provide superior maintenance and repair service on a personal level. Our preventative maintenance provides regular inspection, repair, and replacement of all worn equipment under contract. We make sure that the elevators operate at the manufacturer's specified performance level for the life of the building. Our service technicians keep elevators reliably running and maintenance cost at a predictable and reasonable level.

In our warehouse, we maintain a supply of replacement parts for various makes and types of elevators, escalators, and dumbwaiters. Since we do not have the overhead that larger companies have, we are in a position to offer quality maintenance and service at a reasonable price. We are a union shop and our personnel are highly qualified, averaging over fifteen years experience in the elevator industry.

All of our service technicians are radio dispatched and cover an area within a seventy-five mile radius of Chicago. We provide twenty-four hour service, seven days a week.
